 Kelly Elliot
New York Times & USA Today bestselling author and a pretty decent mom and wife.

Molly McAdams
Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. Some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

Colleen Hoover
#1 NYT's bestselling author of the Slammed and Hopeless series. She loves Diet Pepsi more than all of the things. She also has kids and family and stuff like that.

Abbi Glines
New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of TWISTED PERFECTION, FALLEN TOO FAR, NEVER TOO FAR, JUST FOR NOW, WHILE IT LASTS, BECAUSE OF LOW, BREATHE, THE VINCENT BOYS, THE VINCENT BROTHERS, THE EXISTENCE TRILOGY.

Nicole Edwards
Nicole lives in Texas with her husband, Colt, three kids and four dogs. It's quite the household and most of the time you'll find her locked away in her office... writing. When she's not, you'll likely find her reading, swimming, or hanging out in the yard with the dogs, doing her best to keep them in line.

Katy Evans
Katy Evans grew up with books and book-boyfriends until she found a real sexy boyfriend to love. They married and are now hard at work on their own happily ever after. Katy loves her family and friends, and she also loves reading, walking, baking, and being consumed by her characters until she reaches “The End.” Which is, hopefully, only the beginning.

Cameo Renae
Author Cameo Renae. A dreamer. A simple girl who loves coffee and writes words to escape reality...if even for a little while.

Wendy Knight
I am the author of the young adult urban fantasy series Fate on Fire, and Riders of Paradesos.

Belinda Boring
Self proclaimed dork. Lover of romance & all things SWOON. Published romance author.

Brooke Cumberland
Brooke is a midwestern gal, from the cheese state of Wisconsin! Go Packers! She's a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful children (one daughter & two stepsons) and a black furry dog. She's studied psychology in college, and counseling and education in graduate school where she found her love for writing. Most days you can find her reading or writing, or just hanging out with her family! She loves movies, cooking, and shopping! She's addicted to Starbucks, Coach purses, and wearing yoga pants.

Mary Ting
Mary Ting resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children’s chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.

Hilary Storm
Hilary Storm lives with her high school sweetheart and three children in Enid, Oklahoma.  She drives her husband crazy talking about book characters everyday like they are real people.  She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with an MBA in Accounting and has a full time job as an accountant.  Her passions include being a mom, writing, reading, photography, music, mocha coffee, and spending time with friends and family.  She is the author of the 'Rebel Walking' Series.  Book One:  'In a Heartbeat' was released in June, 2013, Book two: 'Heaven Sent' was released in September 2013.

Harper Sloan
Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husbands chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her eReader attached. She enjoys bad reality TV and cheesy romantic flicks. Her favorite kind of hero--the super alpha kind!

L.P. Dover
I am an avid reader that loves my collection of books. Writing has always been a passion of mine and now I am glad that I get to share my passion with the world. I live in North Carolina and I absolutely love being a southern girl. I spent several years in college starting out with a major in Psychology and then switching to dental. I worked in the dental field for eight years and then decided to stay home with my two beautiful girls. I spent the beginning of my reading years reading suspense thrillers, but now I can't get away from the paranormal/fantasy books. I knew ever since then that if I wrote anything it would be in a paranormal aspect. Now that I have started on my passion and began writing, you will not see me go anywhere without a notebook and a pen.

Stacey Rourke
Author. Mother. Wife. Author of the Laugh-out Loud Gryphon Series and the nonfiction book I'm Not Crazy I'm on Lupron; a Journey Through Infertility.

Cambria Hebert
I am a writer, reviewer and a mother of two. I am totally addicted to Starbucks (I'll take a latte!) and I can barely operate my computer. I am obsessed with werewolves and I have an irrational fear of chickens (ewww, gross!). My favorite place to go is Barnes and Nobles and one day I hope to see my book grace their shelves.

Lizzy Ford
Lizzy Ford is the author of over twenty five novels written for young adult and adult paranormal romance readers, to include the internationally bestselling Rhyn Trilogy, Witchling Trilogy and the War of Gods series. Considered a freak of nature by her peers for the ability to write and release a commercial quality novel in under a month, Lizzy has focused on keeping her readers happy by producing brilliant, gritty romances that remind people why true love is a trial worth enduring.

Gail McHugh
New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal best selling author of Collide and Pulse.

Lucian Barnes
I spent most of my youth in rural Ohio and began writing stories at an early age. Many of these early attempts at story-telling were inspired by mysteries, such as those found in the old Hardy Boys books and the cartoon antics of Scooby Doo. As I entered my teenage years I began to drift away from writing stories, instead picking up my pencil to compose lyrics for heavy metal songs because my new dream was to become a musician. That vision remained hopeful for many years after my high school graduation, but like most dreams of this nature it died out as I became older.

After working several menial jobs through the years that followed, my thoughts again began to turn toward writing books. Inspired by my favorite author, Stephen King, I took an online creative writing course and slowly began to develop my skills. In late 2010 I was given a violent shove, both by the job market (which was horrible to say the least, and still is) and by the persistent encouragement of close friends, to pick up my pen and begin writing again.

In early 2012 I gave birth (that's almost what it felt like) to my very first published book, Desolace. Finally having a completed novel in my hand was the best feeling in the world for me, giving me a sense of accomplishment I had waited a lifetime for. Since then it has gotten easier for me with each book I have published. Since the initial release of Desolace two more of my novels have been published and another has just been completed. This last work is the first book I've written outside of the Desolace Series, an occult horror novel titled Destined for Darkness.

Alison Bailey
Alison was born and raised in Charleston, SC. As a child she would create (write) additional scenes to TV shows and movies that she watched. She attended Winthrop University and graduated with a major in Theater. While at Winthrop she began writing one act plays which she later produced. Throughtout the years she continued writing and producing several one act plays, but then life got in the way and she hung up her pen for a while. At the end of 2012 a very talented author friend convinced Alison to go back to writing and see what happened. So she did and fell back in love with it. Present Perfect will be Alison's first self published book. Alison's philosophy: Don't let your obstacles define you. At times life can get pretty overwhelming, but with a great support system and a lot of humor you can get through them. If you have humor in your life your spirit stays strong and you can tackle anything.

I hope everyone enjoys this list as much as I do. Please be sure to comment below and let me know how many of your favorites authors made the Top 20 list :) Also do not forget to join my friends list here on my blog so that you can get notifications about any new blog post :)

Absolute Power Review

Two years ago Alysun David's life was normal. Great school. Wonderful boyfriend.
But after one night of being abandoned at her high school dance nothing was ever the same.

Powers Alysun could never imagine have developed and her anger triggers them.

Terrified, her mother constantly keeps them on the move until they finally find themselves in the company of her mother's old friend...who doesn't look that old at all. Even in the small town of Hinckley, Ohio things seem to only get worse for Alysun and her heart longs for the one person that could help her.

As her powers progress unwanted attention is aimed Alysun's way and evil won't stay away long. Control is the only thing that can help her but anger is sometimes harder to let go than you think.

Review
I loved reading this book!

Alyson's whole world was flipped upside down when her mom moved her away from her school and the love of her life. Little did she know her would was only going to get more strange and more flipped upside down. This only plus is that the love of her life comes back but he is full of surprises also.

This book was awesome to read, I loved reading it. The only bad part of it is the ending, I did not want it to end. I wanted to read more and know more. I can not wait to find out what happens next in the Absolute Power Series. If you like magic, love, and twist then read Absolute Power today but be careful cause it may shock you how fast you get hooked on this book and series.

Absolute Power had its twist and turns, sometimes I did not know what was coming or what would happen next and that is the awesome thing about this book. It was not predictable like some books I have read :)

The Unknown Review

The Unknown by Lara Henley

Misty found out early in life that things just don't come easy. She has learned to trust no one, and that you can't depend on anyone but yourself when the chips fall. Finally free of the states clutches she sets out on a whirl wind adventure called LIFE....
But she never expected Drake....

Drake... is Use to being in the lime light just graduated from college. Wondering what's next? Misty is a welcome surprise. So different from his everyday mundane experiences..

Can two completely different people share a journey that could change both of their lives forever? Or will they end up destroying each other in the process?

Escape to The UnKnown

The Unknown shows us that real love is out there and sometimes you can have love at first sight. It also shows us that no one can have a fairy tale romance, that no matter how perfect the story seems there is also something that just throws your life for a loop.

Misty lost everything as a child, she lost her parents, her home and her life. After being shoved into the system Misty finally ages out and heads to live with her aunt. Along the way she meets Drake, a man who seems too good to be true. Misty and Drake seem to have it all until the thunderstorms of life roll in.

I love this book because it shows us that love is not a fairytale and that sometimes they do not live happily ever after. The cliffhanger at the end really got me and left me wanting more but I never saw the twist at the end coming. You will be shocked, you will feel pain, you will laugh all while reading this book. This has became one of my favorite books and I will be sitting on pins and needles until the next one is out and I find out what happens to Misty and Drake!

Protected

At the start of her senior year at Kingsbrook College, a small school in Northern Michigan, Ariya Adams has a perfectly normal existence. Determined to make this her best year yet, she attends her classes and hangs out with the friends she has come to love more than life.
That is until the arrival of the sexy and mysterious transfer student James Rymer, who captivates her affections almost instantly. With her emotions on the fritz for no apparent reason, and unsure if he shares her feelings, Ariya finds herself on an emotional rollercoaster in which everything she knows and loves is questioned.
When fantasy and reality mix, Ariya’s world is turned upside down and she learns that “normal” isn’t what she thought it was. Danger soon comes for her and she discovers that everyone has been keeping secrets from her. The battle between one’s duty and what feels right will have to be fought and it may be a struggle for Ariya to stay alive. When Ariya’s life and the lives of the people she cares for most are endangered, she learns to never underestimate the power of blood.

Awakened

Nothing is ever quite as it seems, at least not for Ariya Adams. She’s only recently discovered the supernatural world is real, and that world wants something from her. Her blood. Her unique ability to heal both werewolves and vampires with only a few drops gives Ariya a great power. However, that power has put her in unfathomable danger.
James, her sexy vampire boyfriend and Protector, has done well keeping Ariya safe in the past. When a new, more powerful and manipulative evil comes into play, it may prove to be more than they can handle, especially when their forbidden affair makes Ariya more vulnerable to the deceptive new enemy seeking to control her. Her grasp on reality will be tested and twisted as she battles to save James, her friends, and herself.
Despite her determination, she may be faced with a pain greater than she ever imagined. Even the most powerful abilities have limitations, and this time, the power of her blood might not be enough to save those she loves most. If all else is lost, will Ariya survive?

Untitled Book 3 in the Ariya Adams trilogy is set to be released in early 2014.
